«The Secret Life of Pets 2 is on the staff of Catholic helmed

Amusing antics and a lively pace make this follow-up to the 2016 original, helmed by returning director Chris Renaud, an entertaining cartoon for kids. The most prominent of the three storylines involves a fretful terrier (voice of Patton Oswalt) who learns to be more courageous when his owners take him and his mutt sidekick (voice of Eric Stonestreet) on a visit to a relative’s farm and they befriend the fearless alpha canine (voice of Harrison Ford) who presides there. Back home in New York City, the Pomeranian (voice of Jenny Slate) who has set her cap for the terrier loses the favorite toy he entrusted to her keeping and must brave an apartment full of fearsome felines to retrieve it while an eccentric bunny (voice of Kevin Hart) and a good-hearted Shih Tzu (voice of Tiffany Haddish) plot to free a gentle tiger from its captivity in an abusive circus. Although the potty humor of the first film has been toned down, Brian Lynch’s script, as co-directed by Jonathan Del Val, includes situations of mayhem and danger that could frighten little ones. Older children and their parents, by contrast, will find this a congenial adventure. Cruelty to animals, much cartoonish violence, scenes of peril, a few scatological jokes, a couple of crass terms. The Catholic News Service classification is A-II — adults and adolescents. The Motion Picture Association of America rating is PG — parental guidance suggested. Some material may not be suitable for children.

Rinden Protesta de Ley juezas al TSJE

-Esto luego de realizar proceso de sustitución por declinación y renuncia de jueces en Chihuahua.

Las y los integrantes de la 68 Legislatura del Congreso local, aprobaron el dictamen por el que se otorga el nombramiento a dos juezas ante el Tribunal Superior de Justicia del Estado (TSJE), luego de realizar el proceso correspondiente de sustitución por declinación y renuncia de dos jueces del Distrito Judicial Morelos.

Este documento fue presentado por la diputada Edna Xóchitl Contreras de la Comisión de Justicia del Poder Legislativo; ambas juezas electas: Ana Margarita Pérez Cárdenas y Ana Patricia Portillo García, rindieron protesta de Ley ante las y los diputados.

En este sentido, se otorgó la renuncia a María Cristina del Rosario Berjes como Jueza de Control del Distrito Judicial Morelos y llamó a Ana Margarita Pérez Cárdenas para que rindiera protesta ante dicho cargo, mientras que se reconoció la declinación de José Carlos González Reyes como Juez Penal de Primera Instancia del Distrito Judicial Morelos y se llamó a Ana Patricia Portillo García para que rindiera la protesta de Ley correspondiente.

La renuncia y declinación mencionadas, fueron notificadas al Poder Legislativo por parte del Órgano de Administración Judicial del Poder Judicial del Estado de Chihuahua mediante Oficios No. SEOAJ 257/2025 y SEOAJ 340/2025, luego de ser electos en el proceso electoral extraordinario 2024-2025.

Por último, se refirió que el Instituto Estatal Electoral (IEE) notificó que el orden de prelación de la votación del proceso electoral extraordinario del 2024-2025, de las personas que obtuvieron las mayores votaciones con independencia de género.

Cabe mencionar que cada una de las juezas, habrán de desempeñarse por el periodo que resta del encargo sustituido en el Poder Judicial del Estado de Chihuahua.
